Our super-hydrophobic coating successfully passed international standards for cytotoxicity ISO 10993-5 and skin irritation ISO 10993-10

In May last year, we announced the development of a new superhydrophobic nanocoating that could be applied on tissue fabrics to add value to the performance of some commercially available masks as well as community masks – for more info see: www.maskinspired.com

We continued developing the technology and we applied it on a variety of substrates such as glass, polymers, fabrics, PCBs, to make these highly hydrophobic for different medical and non-medical applications from our customers.

We are happy to share that we successfully passed the tests that demonstrate that the coating does not present any cytotoxicity or skin irritation issue. This is especially important for applications where the coating is in contact with the human body.
