Thanks to its high contact angle of 140°, CX-LOTUS is used to prevent adhesion and sticking.
CX-LOTUS is made of ceramic and is biocompatible and bioinert. It is compatible with all sterilization methods including steam sterilization cycles.
CX-LOTUS is produced under vacuum with COAT-X proprietary PE-CVD technology. Complex objects can be coated with 3D conform superhydrophobic thin films close to room temperature without damaging the base material or underlying components.
