  • Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) module for High-Quality Parylene Thin Films
  • Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) module for precizion growth of ultra-thin ceramic interlayers
  • Seamless Integration: A specialized transfer system ensures smooth movement of coated parts between modules.

Experience unparalleled protection and performance with the CXC-20 Combined System.

Trust in our innovation to deliver superior barrier coatings for your most demanding applications.

Experience superior barrier performance of CX ULTIMA produced with the NEW CXC-20 ALD/Parylene System.

The unique technology delivers an exceptionally low water vapor transmission rate of just 3 x 10-5 g/m²/day. This robust barrier has been rigorously tested and proven effective on a variety of substrates, including flexible and soft materials like silicone membranes.

Trust in our cutting-edge solution to safeguard your products against moisture and ensure long-lasting durability.

Safeguard Your Active Implantable Medical Devices

Protect your active implantable medical devices (AIMD), such as flexible devices like nerve stimulators, from corrosion damages with our advanced ALD/CVD multilayer technology, integrated into the CXC-20 combined system.

Our advanced barrier coating process offers:

  • Enhanced Long-Term In-Vivo Durability: Guarantee the longevity and reliability of highly sensitive implants and materials.
  • Improved Biocompatibility: Elevate the safety and compatibility of your products for medical applications.
  • Increased Mechanical Strength: Benefit from the robust, complex multilayer structure.

Trust the CXC-20 combined system to deliver superior protection and performance for your most critical medical devices.

Experience Superior 3D Conformal Coating

The CXC-20 system ensures comprehensive coverage of complex products with true 3D conformal quality. Key features include:

  • Versatile Coating Thickness: Ranging from 100 nm to 10 µm, tailored to your specific needs.
  • Parylene Compatibility: Supports all parylene grades (N, C, F) for diverse applications.
  • Multiple Ceramic Combinations: Available options include Al₂O₃ and TiO₂ for enhanced performance.
  • Unlimited Interlayers: Achieve optimal protection with an unlimited number of interlayers.

Dimension

CXC-20 has 2 reactors for ALD and CVD processes with each 20L capacity, ideal for small product of for research purpose

Available working space for each reactor is a cylinder of diameter 20 cm (7.9 in) and height 20 cm (7.9 in).

The overall footprint of the complete system is 235 x 400 cm (92.5 x 157.5 in) and the height is 210 cm (82.7 in).

Vacuum Operated Manipulator

Products are inserted in the cluster through a dedicated insertion port and then automatically transferred by a manipulator arm to either the CVD reactor for parylene deposition of to the ALD reactor for the ceramic deposition.

The transfer from reactor to reactor is performed under vacuum ensuring:

  • high quality
  • no interface contamination
  • no moisture integration
  • high productivity

Medical devices

COAT-X is ISO 13485 certified and is thus allowed to coat medical devices for legal manufacturers.
