BIOCOMPATIBLE MATERIAL

CX-LOTUS is made of ceramic and is biocompatible and bioinert. It is compatible with all sterilization methods including steam sterilization cycles.

DEPOSITION TECHNOLOGY

CX-LOTUS is produced under vacuum with COAT-X proprietary PE-CVD technology. Complex objects can be coated with 3D conform superhydrophobic thin films close to room temperature without damaging the base material or underlying components.

COATING SERVICE

COAT-X vacuum PE-CVD coating machines can handle large and small objects and coat them with our superhydrophobic coating. Our batch coating processes are fast, cost-effective, and always optimized for each new application. We use only high-quality precursors for the best coating properties. The selective coating is possible with various masking techniques.

Medical devices

COAT-X is ISO 13485 certified and is thus allowed to coat medical devices for legal manufacturers.
