Parylene AF4 dimer from COAT‑X is a high‑purity, fully fluorinated parylene precursor designed for the production of premium Parylene AF4 conformal coatings in demanding electronic and industrial environments. It is qualified for use in commercial parylene deposition systems to deliver highly reliable, uniform coatings on complex and miniaturized components.

COAT‑X Parylene AF4 dimer is supplied as a white to off‑white crystalline solid, engineered as the consumable feedstock for Parylene AF4 vacuum deposition processes. Its tightly controlled purity, particle size distribution, and very low levels of ionic and volatile contaminants enable precise dosing, efficient vaporization, and consistent coating thickness from development through high‑volume production.

 

Key features and benefits

The premium grade for demanding thermal and UV environments. Alpha-hydrogen atoms are fully replaced by fluorine, raising the upper continuous service temperature to approximately 350 °C and providing exceptional UV stability, properties unmatched by any other parylene variant. Parylene F-AF4 also offers the lowest coefficient of friction and lowest dielectric constant in the family. It is the natural choice for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications where coatings are exposed to prolonged heat, radiation, or both.
