COAT‑X Parylene C dimer is a high‑purity raw material designed for the production of robust Parylene C conformal coatings used in electronic, medical, and industrial applications. It is qualified for use in COAT-X parylene CVD deposition systems to deliver highly reliable, uniform coatings on complex and delicate components.

COAT‑X Parylene C dimer (symmetrical dichloro‑paracyclophane) is supplied as a white to off‑white crystalline solid, engineered as the consumable feedstock for Parylene C chemical vapor deposition processes (CVD). Controlled purity, particle size, and very low levels of ionic and volatile contaminants support precise dosing, efficient vaporization, and consistent coating thickness in both prototyping and high‑volume production.

By far the most widely deployed grade, Parylene C delivers an excellent balance of moisture barrier performance, chemical resistance, and mechanical toughness. A single chlorine substituent on its aromatic ring significantly lowers water vapor transmission compared to Parylene N while maintaining good dielectric properties.
